Single-molecule and super-resolution microscopy at the University of Edinburgh.

The Horrocks Lab will be starting at the University of Edinburgh early in 2018. We are currently looking for Ph.D. students to start in 2018. Please Email for more information.

We will be based in the School of Chemistry, and the Dementia Research Institute, at the University of Edinburgh. We use physical chemistry to understand the biological processes associated with disease. In particular, we are interested in developing and using fluorescence-based single-molecule and super-resolution methods to understand neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
